Austin's Council Committee on Austin Energy will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. to focus the costs and legal hurdles for retiring the Fayette coal plant and timelines and process for an update to our Resource, Generation, and Climate Protection Plan.
This is an excellent opportunity for the public to learn about how the city of Austin is weighing decisions about its electricity generation plans.
